Methane Digester Projects

digesterTeamAg has partnered with RCM Digester to provide anaerobic methane digester solutions. Digester projects have taken place in PA, NY, MD, OH and CA. Anaerobic digestion involves bacteria that thrive in the absence of oxygen. These bacteria convert complex organic matter (manure) into biogas. Biogas is known more commonly as swamp gas, sewer gas and fuel gas. Energy conservation, coupled with concern for the management of livestock wastes, has revived an interest in generating methane from livestock manures. Anaerobically digesting manure at a 1,000 cow farm could potentially produce more than 1,200,000 kWh/year!
More projects will be added, so check back often.
