TeamAg Inc. will develop, update and maintain Nutrient Management Plan that meet any state specific Regulations. As part of the planning process our staff will visit your farm to collect all the necessary information and perform any onsite assessment that may be needed in order to tailor the plan to your specific farm. We can also provide all soil and manure sampling services needed. Mapping for the plan will be completed using the latest GIS technology. Ongoing support for plan updates and record keeping are also available, and recommended.
Once the plan is developed and the landowner is in agreement with the contents of the plan, we will submit the Nutrient Management Plan to the county conservation district for approval. TeamAg Inc. will work with the county Conservation district to seek approval for the Nutrient Management Plan.

Jedd Moncavage
Vice President/Nutrient Management Manager
Jedd Moncavage is a 1999 graduate of Penn State University with a BS in Soil Science. He has been with the TeamAg since 2002. Prior to working at TeamAg, Jedd was employed by Brubaker Consulting Group and the USDA/NRCS. He is a certified Act 38 nutrient and odor management specialist, conservation planner and TSP in multiple states and a nationally certified soil scientist. Jedd works with a team of planners whose main duties include the development of nutrient management plans, soil conservation plans, CAFO permits, CNMPs an all other Ag related planning and permitting.
Nate Dewing
Nutrient Management Specialist
Nate joined TeamAg in 2021 after working for 20 years with the Bradford County Conservation District helping land managers create conservation systems that excel. Nate is a 1996 graduate of Lycoming College with a BA in Biology. He credits his ag conservation interests to Grandfather Max Dewing, a lifelong leader in natural resources stewardship. As a Certified Nutrient Management, Odor Management, and Conservation Planner in PA, and a registered Technical Service Provider with USDA/NRCS, strengths Nate can bring to your farm include manure and livestock handling, nutrient efficiency, problem solving, and regulatory compliance. Husband to Delphine, and father of 7, Nate enjoys producing delicious grass-fed beef and pure Pennsylvania maple syrup at Dewy Meadows Farm in Bradford County.
Corey Grove
Conservation Program Specialist
Corey joined TeamAg in 2010. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Agroecology with a minor in Agronomy from Penn State University. Prior to coming to TeamAg, Corey worked for a local seed company mixing, packaging, delivering, and selling seed. As a Conservation Program Specialist at TeamAg, Corey works with our clients to complete nutrient / manure management plans, odor management plans, conservation / agricultural erosion & sedimentation control plans, comprehensive nutrient management plans and CAFO permitting. Corey is a Pennsylvania Certified Nutrient Management Specialist, Odor Management Specialist, Conservation Planner and registered Technical Service Provider for USDA / NRCS. Corey is also actively involved on his families’ crop, swine, and poultry farming operation located in York County, PA.
Austin Hanssen
Conservation Program Specialist
Austin joined TeamAg in 2021. He is a 2021 graduate of Penn State University with a B.S. in Environmental Resource Management and minor in Watersheds and Water Resources. Prior to working for TeamAg, Austin worked at Penn State’s Agriculture and Environment Center in Centre County helping determine where to implement Best Management Practices. Austin works with our clients to complete nutrient/manure management plans, odor management plans, conservation, and agricultural erosion & sedimentation control plans. Austin is a Certified Nutrient Management Specialist & Odor Management Specialist and is working towards becoming a certified Conservation Planner and a registered Technical Service Provider for USDA / NRCS.
Britton Hartzok
Conservation Program Specialist
Britton joined TeamAg in 2022. Prior to that, he spent 10 years in golf course management and more recently worked for the Lancaster County Conservation District. He has a B.S. in Turfgrass Science from Penn State University and an M.S. in Environmental Earth Systems Management from Millersville University. He lives York County and enjoys spending time on and around the Susquehanna River with his wife and dog.
Maddie Klein
Conservation Program Specialist
Maddie Klein graduated from Penn State in 2016 with a BS in Environmental Resource Management and a Minor in Watersheds and Water Resources. Before coming to TeamAg in 2024, she has worked at Lancaster Farmland Trust, and Lancaster County Conservation District, having gained experience with PA’s Act 38 and Nutrient Management Program, conservation planning standards, basic survey and design, project management, PA’s web of funding programs, and guiding farmers through any of the aforementioned processes. She is an Act 38 Nutrient Management Specialist. In her free time, she enjoys horseback riding, painting, and photography.
Derek Metcalfe
Conservation Program Specialist
Derek graduated from Penn State in 2022 with a BS in Environmental Resource Management and minors in Environmental Soil Science and Watersheds and Water Resources. Before coming to TeamAg, he worked with Resource Environmental Solutions on E&S and invasive plant monitoring for stream restoration projects, and with Eurofins Environment Testing, extracting PFAS compounds from aqueous samples. He is currently working towards earning his Act 38 Nutrient Management Certification. In his free time, he enjoys growing PA native plants, hiking, and playing guitar.
