Project Manager
Description:
TeamAg is a group of passionate and skilled engineers and consultants working to improve the environmental and economic performance of farms across the mid-Atlantic region. TeamAg succeeds when our projects support farm operations that are easier to use and more cost effective for farming families, protect and conserve natural resources, and ensure that local agricultural landscapes are economically and environmentally viable for generations to come.
We are currently seeking a Project Manager to join our team of professionals based in Lancaster, PA.
Primary Focus – Project Management:
- Manage schedules, budgets, and project delivery with our team of engineers
- Construction management
- Pre-bid Site Showings, Pre-Construction Meetings
- Proposal and contract development, review, and management
- Stakeholder Management
- Funding partners, clients, contractors, municipal staff, etc.
- Operational organization and engineer support
Secondary Focus – Program Coordination:
- Quality assurance, inspections, and site layout on an as-needed basis
- Project development and client outreach
- Assisting with project funding coordination and/or grant management
Qualifications, Education and/or Experience:
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Environmental Resource Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or another related field
- Applicant must have a valid driver’s license and willingness to drive to project sites
- Applicants possessing PMI certifications are encouraged to apply
- Experience managing schedules, budgets, contracts, and quality assurance of projects is appreciated
- Field experience with construction, contractors, and farmers is appreciated
- Strong interest and/or background in working in the agricultural sector is appreciated
- Applicant must have interest and ability to work in a team environment
- Applicants must have interest and ability to coordinate with many stakeholders across many projects
- Applicant should have excellent communications skills
